CliffDr. Joe is a father to 'almost triplets', children's book author, and licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in marital and family therapy. He is the acting director of psychological services at a medical practice in Staten Island, New York, along with private practices in midtown Manhattan and Millburn, NJ.

Dr. Joe received his clinical training at Bellevue Hospital and NYU-Langone Medical Centers conducting neuropsychological evaluations and treatments in children and adults with a variety of congenital, emotional, and acquired disorders. His expertise lies in identifying and treating the neurological, behavioral, and environmental problems that cause the 'breakdown of a family,' and has been instrumental in getting individuals and families to reveal toxic secrets in a safe and effective manner via The Secret Box®. Dr. Joe proudly serves as Director of Family Programs on the board of directors for Kid Angel Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps underserved children and families from distressed communities.

Dr. Joe and colleague, Dr. Stacey Bromberg, are the founders of Forward Footsteps, LLC, a publishing company with a focus on children, caregivers, and diversity. In 2012, they published their first two children’s board books entitled, "Hugs of Three: My Daddies and Me" and “Hugs of Three: My Mommies and Me”. Dr. Joe’s media presence includes television, radio, and print, and in 2012, he was nominated for an Eddy Award for an interview on cyberbullying. In addition, he was chosen to host a reality-based television series focusing on helping children and families in crisis currently being pitched to networks.
